  I've been here for 2 nights out of the 4 booked and know I made the right choice to book the ABRIL Hostel. Make sure you do as well. I'm sure you won't regret it.

  The hostel is perfectly situated and close to all amenities. It is a beautiful little gem with a welcoming feeling. It is immaculately clean and bed is comfortable.

  Reading Trip Advisor Reviews about this hostel made my mind up to book and stay here. The reviews are very accurate in my view.

  We were two friends traveling together and booked a 3-person room, agreeing that one of us is going to sleep in the double bed and the other one gets a couch or a single bed. But when we arrived we were positively surprised to have been given a 4-person room instead. So both of us got a big double bed just for our own :) Stayed for 8 nights.

  The interior of the hostel looks really nice. They have really put an effort in decorating. The property is very clean and the location is perfect, just a couple of hundred meters from the heart of Nerja.

  Lovely and clean cozy bed staff really welcoming.. coffee tea making facilities and a mini fridge... Had both bath and shower which was really powerful... Ideal place to stay very central ... I would say give it a try I will stay again

  I'm giving 4 stars for the poor customer care. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh on the staff here but I didn't find them pleasant at all. Possibly it's to do with the language barrier as they all seem not to speak very much English. But then I don't speak Spanish either. But I always believe in the universal language of a great big smile ☺

  There is a lovely terrace to the rear of the hostel and my room 104 has a small balcony.

  The only downside I can see is that they don't have an elevator, but I guess that is only an issue when you're really out of shape and can't climb 3 sets of stairs :) And then it's rather your own problem :D

  Although the rooms are spacious and the view (if you are lucky and get appartment no. 7) is pretty nice, the furnitures look used. Even the sofa. Kitchen worked nice and do not miss to visit the sun terrace. In winter time the rooms have been very cold and the windowless bathroom turnt into an ice cave. Very bad.

  I have no idea why this hostel is marked with only 2 stars. Maybe it only lost points because it doesn't have an elevator or pool. It should be at least 3+ or 4 stars instead.

  Hostal very clean and quiet very small shower but powerful we booked a double room at Abril only 1waste bin that was in bathroom only 2 sockets in bedroom so had to unplug small fridge to plug kettle in tiny Juliet balcony for 1person if I stayed again I would book Abril apartments which is a street away
